  • Hi people! It has been days that I have posted something on this blog.
    *sigh*

I have been slightly busy juggling studies, social life and old friendships this month and I have to say it has been good.
Although I miss my other friends form my former University.

What I have been up to:
    • doing my best to be at par with what my Professors have been teaching us. I'm lucky there's no science this semester. Ugh...
    • Doing the assigned plates and submitting them in time.
    • Looking for the assigned books and searching for a way to pay them. (as if we're going to use them the entire sem)
    • Made a new entry on my long expired blogger account. It's mostly in Filipino so, I don't think most of you would understand it.
    that's all.....

  • The possible metaphors of the five senses

Everything has a distinct scent. May it be a new book newly purchased from a store whose pages smell like factory ink or the accidental sniff of your crush's newly folded shirt.

Each brings back memories like a song. The day a couple got married to the piece of Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D Major or the sweet nostalgic song of Lifehouse's Blind inside a Ferris wheel ride in some theme park holding hands with the person who dominates most of your world.

Making every little thing have a rosy hue. As if a movie in one person's life goes in slow motion when her soon to be Fiancee kneels suddenly in the middle of the crowd and says "Will you marry me?". Of one cinematic climax of a picture captures how happy you are at the moment that you don't give a damn.

Making you tear up at the memory of every texture. The tough of a newly born baby that your older cousin so dangerously labored in this world. Of the kiss your mother gives you still even though its stolen in the dead of the night just to show how much she loves you and reminds her that someday her baby will be taken away to have his/her own family.

Tasting the tiniest details every grain the moment preserved. A kiss from a friend that assures you she loves you no matter what. The sweet taste of a sudden kiss made as you are about to close the door of a great night ending with the droplets of rain on your heads.

Making your heart stop for a millisecond just to make it beast fast again by one single sound. Feeling as if the highest mountain in the world seem a little smaller than the height of your victory. Knowing there is security in you for you have made the right choice even if its a risk.

That is what love is made of.

  • Top Local news in the country today

    Influenza Virus had hit 22
-Yes. The Influenza Virus that has hit the surface of the Philippines last May which had capitulated from one to twenty-two people. The latest one as I write this is an exchange student in De La Salle University Taft Campus. The girl or as the news called her Case 22, just came from overseas to begin her semester this May but today something may have felt off because according to the news, when she went down to the University Clinic, and the medical staff there took a swab from her that's when they found out that she was tested positive of the Influenza Virus. The said school then immediately posted notes in the campus to explain to the students what had happened. La Salle - Taft has now suspended their classes.

Charter Change and the Constitutional Amendment hot in the frying pan
    - Revisement of the Constitution is certainly a surprise. Not only for me but for other people as well. Why now? Why one year away from the new election period? Is this just coincidence? I'm not sure. But something is definetely fishy. Charter change is now being discussed but is not finalized because the Senators have closed their Assembly to take a vacation and will be back on July 17, 2009 but they will be watching closely how this thing progresses. They also said that they would get a good lawyer in case this gets to the Supreme Court.

Hayden Kho and Katrina Halili Scandal now as hot as coal out of  Fire.
-the gossips are slowing down. I guess people are getting tired of it already. I sure am. But as I have seen on Channel 7, 24 Oras (--->24 Hours) the daily news show that hits at 6:30 pm, the current flow of the story now leads to Dr. Belo as John Chua, the one who ripped all the sex videos Hayden has and made a copy to give it to Dr. Belo then deleted all the original copies from the laptop again dictated by Ms. Belo Mr. Chua said.
Mr. Chua has now filed an affidavit to sue the people who told false things about him.

  • Gossip Girl is all trash but a different kind of trash

I love reading the gossip girl series by Cecily von Ziegesar. Especially the series. I love the series.

Its pretty much easy to get hooked.
The plot, the characters are so molded and so surreal that these kind of people really do exist in society amidst all the poverty and war going on.

But what I can't deny is that even I who love the series both the book and the TV adaptation is that, this are relatively trash.

I don't learn a thing from it, I watch kids spend a hundred grand on some luxury bag that can pretty much feed kids in Africa, I watch teens get hooked again and again with different people but on the same circle. May it be clockwise or counter clockwise.

and why do I keep supporting it?

Well, let's just say that if you've had coffee in your system for 2 years every day you get addicted. Its the same stuff but it has a different flavor to it every time. Depending on the situation.

    Same goes for Gossip Girl.

So here's to the elite society that smokes hash and doesn't give a damn.

    cheers!

  • ah! I'm-super-at-the-edge-of-the-seat-manga

Its like hesitating if you have to eat that last piece of pizza on the table, or the last crumbles of chocolate chip cookie, or the last letter of one of the notes that you're re-writing from a lecture so not long ago, or the feeling of watching that last season finale of Chuck series.

    Its like....
    THAT'S IT?!

You know there's more to the story, you know there's more coming up, you know there's so much MORE it just kills you to know that there is and you can't take it and it hurts you head so much you can't take it.

    *pant, pant, pant

    these mangas sure did it

    Honggane
Nanhee Hong is the second child in the Hong family. She has an older brother, who is the jjang (boss) of his school, and a younger brother, who is a member of the rival school's gang. When Nanhee meets a mysterious student, things begin to get complicated. What will Nanhee do?

    Gakuen Ouji

The stage is set in the prestigious Private Joshi (girls) Oka High School — or more commonly known as Joshi High. It became co-educational a few years ago, but females still heavily outnumber the males. The number of males could be easily counted. While one would think males would be pampered in such a harem school, the reality is far from being heavenly. It is the world of female domination.

Ah! I can't sleep just thinking about it!
What about school? I can't concentrate! I have to read it! READ IT! AHHHH!!!

About Me

  • I am now a fine arts student! Yey! I'm majoring in Advertising Arts. Too bad I'm an irregular student in a new campus and a new University. Hmm... I'm 19 now and I have been in xanga for about roughly two years now. A new campus. Its a totally new environment. and.... I curse and I look like a composed reserved girl but I'm not and its ironic nyahahahha. So, I like music, anything in between kind of music but love live recordings especially if they are my favorite. I like playing the piano, I like seeing cute guys but somewhat terrified of them. Why? I don't know. But you can apply to make me forget it.COMPLETELY. Nyahahaha! Anyway... yeah I live in the Philippines too. Chow!
